Introducing the XAC Series NEMA 4X microprocessor-based Variable Frequency AC Drive, a fully enclosed solution engineered to deliver outdoor-ready durability and operator-friendly control. Housed in a die-cast aluminum NEMA 4X enclosure, the XAC is built for harsh industrial environments, resisting moisture, dust, and contaminants while providing simple front-panel operation with clearly labeled controls and LED diagnostics. Its microprocessor architecture not only enables precise motor control, but also allows American Control Electronics to develop customized firmware solutions for OEM partners, tailoring performance, features, and functionality to specific applications.

Designed for 230 VAC motors up to 2 HP capability, the XAC has a selectable 115/230 VAC input, adjustable carrier frequency for quieter motor operation or GFCI compatibility, and 200% overload capacity for two minutes, this drive gives users the flexibility and performance typically associated with higher-priced alternatives without unnecessary complexity.

Beyond durability, the XAC delivers advanced control features that matter in real-world applications: adjustable acceleration and deceleration, torque limit control up to 200%, slip compensation for tighter speed regulation under load, DC injection braking, selectable coast or brake stop modes, and multiple operator configurations via DIP switches. Jog functionality, forward/reverse capability (model dependent), motor overload protection, and run/fault relay outputs make integration into OEM equipment or retrofit projects straightforward. The XAC stands shoulder-to-shoulder with other enclosed VFDs in protection, versatility, and ease of installation delivering industrial-grade performance in a compact, installer-friendly package.

The XAC110 includes a 2-position Start/Stop switch with maintained action in both the Start and Stop positions.
