RGF Series

The largest and most powerful member of our 4Q regenerative family, the RGF series comes standard on a heavy duty heat sink for optimum heat dissipation. The available field voltage supply makes this series compatible with any 90/180 VDC PM or shunt-wound motor in the 1-5 HP range. Contactorless reversing,overhauling load control, breaking, or plug reversing is easily accomplished by this conservatively rated 25 amp drive. Standard on this series is Burr-Brown input isolation, which provides a linear response to a 4-20 mA or 0 to ±250 VDC command signal. With easy to use cage clamp terminals for logic, large screw terminals for power connections, tachogenerator feedback compatibility, and full assortment of adjustment trim pots, this robustly designed full featured series is well suited for the most demanding reversing and control applications.

  • Field Supply: Voltage output to energize the field winding of a shunt-wound motor
  • Isolated Logic: Allows floating or grounded 0 ± 250 VDC or 1-5, 4-20, 10-50 mA
  • Stopping Modes: Regen Brake (N.O.) for braking to a stop. Can be used for rapid starting and stopping
  • On-board Fusing: Drive includes on-board fusing
  • Tach Feedback: Accepts tachogenerator feedback for tighter speed regulation
