All American Control Electronics products are designed and manufactured in South Beloit, Illinois, and Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Since ACE maintains two U.S. manufacturing facilities, production is not tied to a single location; product documentation, approved components, test requirements, tooling, work instructions, and production knowledge are managed so work can move between South Beloit and Chanhassen when a program needs additional capacity or continuity support. If one site is affected by a disruption, the other facility gives ACE a practical path to keep customer programs moving.

This domestic, two-facility footprint gives OEM customers more options for capacity planning, supply-chain resilience, and long-term manufacturing support.

South Beloit, Illinois

The South Beloit facility is the long-standing home of American Control Electronics and Minarik Drives manufacturing. The climate-controlled plant encompasses approximately 35,000 square feet and supports the domestic design and production of industrial-grade electronic motor controls and power products.

The Illinois facility also supports UL508A custom control panel assembly, giving customers a U.S.-manufactured path for integrated panel work under one part number. ACE also maintains in-house UL testing capabilities through participation in the UL Data Acceptance Program. This can help streamline qualifying certification work for custom products.

Chanhassen, Minnesota

The Chanhassen facility serves as a domestic electronics design and manufacturing center with more than 15,000 square feet of production space. The facility operates under an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system covering the design and manufacture of electronic controls and systems for industrial, defense, aerospace, and OEM applications.

The Minnesota team supports projects from early product development through prototyping, printed circuit board assembly, testing, and volume manufacturing. Electrical, mechanical, and software engineering resources work closely with production personnel to improve manufacturability and resolve issues before full-scale production.

Automated equipment supports the PCBA process from solder-paste application and component placement through reflow, soldering, and optical inspection. These assemblies are manufactured and tested at the Chanhassen facility rather than being sent overseas for production.
